ABOUT SARA
I was fat, moody, struggling to be healthy while suffering from a variety of ailments I attributed to a normal part of “getting old” (I was 39). Following conventional wisdom had left me feeling like a failure and insulin-resistant. I had tried ALL the diets and through pure strength of will, I even had some success…for a little while. All while reinforcing a bad relationship with food. Sound familiar?
My 3 years as a zero fat vegan left me thin, Yay! I was also depressed, with NO energy, pasty skin and a family that was “over it”. It wasn’t until I started pulling clumps of hair out of the tub that I finally gave it up. Thin does not mean healthy.
I guess I just wasn’t meant to be healthy. It was my “genes”. I had “bad” genes. People in my family weren’t healthy, they didn’t live long. My dad died at 53 from a heart attack, overweight and diabetic.
In 2010, weighing nearly 200 pounds, I started CrossFit. I was just helping a friend out who was starting a gym. Little did I know the path it would lead me down. In just a couple of months, I could tell a difference. I was getting stronger. I had more energy. I incorporated a “new” way of eating (that is actually old) – Now the results really started to happen.
I discovered “ancestral health” – a different approach from conventional medicine. An approach that focuses on building health instead of treating disease. An approach that treats people as a holistic being instead of pieces and parts. A flame was ignited as I realized it was my purpose, my duty, my burning desire to help other people build their health, stop struggling and live the healthy and fit life they deserve
People shouldn’t struggle with their health and fitness. You are designed to be healthy and fit.

Brendan Barnett - Trainer
ABOUT BRENDAN
I reached the #300 club before I was 18 (on the scale, not my baseball average). My weight didn’t bother me, but how I was starting to feel did.
Bad food has always been my enemy. Finding foods that work best for me has made a huge difference. If I eat something I shouldn’t have I surely notice the difference in how I feel. My quality of sleep has similar effects.
I learned to align my habits with health and fall in love with movement – I now enjoy a healthy and fit lifestyle effortlessly.
Movement and mobility are my specialties and I love coaching our members to excel.
I’m more likely to be listening than talking – the better I understand each person’s perspective, the better I can help them meet their goals. I believe in them even when they don’t.
Sharing their joy as they break through their barriers and accomplish things they never thought possible is the most rewarding experience ever.

ABOUT JON
I have always had a passion for athletes, even though I was a bigger kid growing up. I played football and wrestled in middle school. In high school I injured my back to the point to where football and wrestling was no longer an option. I didn’t let that stop me, I started to train martial arts and acquired my black belt by my senior year.
In college I wanted to continue my martial arts but life pulled me into another direction in west coast swing dancing. I started to compete and travel the country.
Through my experiences with my back injury I have learned the importance of a solid foundation when it comes to your health and fitness. I know the importance of a strong core, proper movement standards, and how to improve not just physical health but your mental health as well. When you work with me you know you’ll be getting stronger, faster, more mobile and I’ll be able to set you on the right path when it comes to mindset. In other words, welcome to a new beginning of being happier and healthier.
